Support Services

Our senior residents choose support services as needed from within our facility or through their own providers. We place a priority on their safety while respecting their sense of independence and dignity.

Independent living

Our Independent Living program is the most self-sufficient plan at Deerwood Crossing. Seniors are not required to purchase any services, however, they have the option of adding services at any time that fit their lifestyle and make them feel more comfortable.


Housekeeping services can be purchased on a regular or as-needed basis. The fee for the housekeeping services is based on the square footage and condition of the apartment.


50% of our independent living units include an in-residence washer and dryer. Linen service and/or personal laundry service is available for purchase. Linen service is provided weekly. Personal laundry is charged according to the number of loads. Residents also may use the card-operated laundry machines located on each floor.


Meals are prepared daily by a trained chef. Deerwood Crossing's meal plans give seniors flexibility in choosing the number of meals per day they wish to purchase. The chef prepares menus that offer a variety of selections for a dining room experience residents can look forward to. Guest meals are available at an additional cost.


Seniors are welcome to continue using their own personal beauticians or barbers, or they can enjoy the convenience of on-site services. Appointments can be scheduled with the beautician/barber for a variety of services including manicures and pedicures. The salon's operating hours and charges are determined by the staff based upon the needs of residents.

Planned Social Activities

An on-site activities coordinator plans various social activities. These include planned outings and trips in the community as well as on-site social, recreational, educational and cultural opportunities.

Emergency Call System

For a small fee, residents can wear one of our sophisticated emergency call pendants from the day they move in. In case of medical or house emergency, the resident is able to summon staff, who will assist or contact the appropriate emergency response agency.
